Investigation on Bihar journalist murder case

New Delhi. (आरएनआई)  August 21, 2023 (Agency). A team of journalists led by Indian Journalist Association (IJA), chief Ram Nath Vidrohi visited Araria yesterday to take stock of the murder of a journalist in Araria, Bihar. 
Leader of Joint Forum of Journalist Organizations and Executive President of United Indian Journalist Association (UIJA) Dr. Samrendra Pathak and senior journalist Kumar Samat said that Mr. Vidrohi will meet the victim's family, local journalists and administrative officials during his visit. Further action will be taken after his report. 
Dr. Pathak told that the team includes IJA National President Ramnath Vidrohi, National General Secretary Ranjesh Kumar Jha "Alok", senior journalist Avinash Kumar Singh from Khagaria and many other members.
It is worth mentioning that Vimal Kumar Rai, a journalist working in a daily newspaper was shot dead in Raniganj, Araria district of Bihar. L.S.
