LINER REGARDING FIRING AT THE GATE OF THE ARA CIVIL COURT ARRESTED

ARA (RNI) Bhojpur police arrested a liner in connection of firing on two persons at the gate of the Ara civil court who had come to the court for attendance. The arrested liner was identified as Aditya Mishra alias Mithu son of Shatrghan Mishra alias Mohan Baba of Mahuli village under Gajrajganj police station in Bhojpur district. The police also seized a mobile from him. Police are conducting raids to arrest the miscreants.

Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that Gautam Chaudhary and Gopal Chaudhary had come to the Ara Civil Court on date on February 29, 2024 in case no 196/2016. After appearance in the court, they came out of the court when some unidentified armed miscreants shot at and injured Gopal Chaudhary 62 son of late Degree Chaudhary of Belaur village under Udwantnagar police station near the motorcycle stand in front of the Ara Civil Court though Gautm Chaudhary ran away and saved his life. After the incident, the miscreants escaped from the scene. The SP further said that he formed a police team under the ASP and the police team, acting of a confidential report, arrested Aditya Mishra alias Mithu from near the Western Over Bridge who confessed during interrogation before the police that he had played a role of liner.

The SP stated that Gopal Chaudhary was a named accused in the murder of Hemant Chaudhary in the year 2016 and added that during verification it came to light that the matter is related to a war of attrition in between Butan Chaudhary and Ranjeet Chaudhary in which Hemant Chaudhary brother of Ranjeet Chaudhary was shot dead in the year 2016 and Butan Chaudhary and his brothers were accused in the matter. Gopal Chaudhary alias Gopal Sharma, an aide of Butan Chaudhary is a named accused in that matter. .

After a bomb blast on the campus of the Ara Civil Court on January 23, 2015, heavy police force was deployed and CCTVs were installed. Each and every persons and clients except advocates are frisked before at the gate of the court. A number of police personnel also patrol outside the court campus and even the bikers are not allowed to park their motorcycles near the campus wall of the court. Motorcycle and vehicle parking is made at Ramana Maidan illegally. Despite the criminals are so emboldened that they commit crime freely and escape from the scene. This put a big question mark on the efficacy of the law and order situation and the police administration.
