RI TO ONE FOR MURDER
-Additional District and Session Judge VIII, Ara Civil Court Neeraj Kishore awarded rigorous life imprisonment to Santos Kumar Upadhyaya and also slapped a fine of Rs. 25,000 on him in connection with murder of his cousin brother Akhilesh Kumar Upadhyaya.
ARA (RNI) Additional District and Session Judge VIII, Ara Civil Court Neeraj Kishore awarded rigorous life imprisonment to Santos Kumar Upadhyaya and also slapped a fine of Rs. 25,000 on him in connection with murder of his cousin brother Akhilesh Kumar Upadhyaya.
APP Manik Kumar Singh said that Akhilesh Kumar Upadhyaya along with his cousin brother Santosh Kumar Upadhayaya was going to his house at Piro from Piro Bazaar under Piro police station on July 14, 2021 in the night. On way, Santosh Kumar Upadhayaya stabbed Akhilesh Kumar Upadhayaya and injured him but Akhilesh Kumar Upadhayaya succumbed to his injuries during treatment. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Piro police station against Santosh Kumar Upadhayaya in this regard.
Hearing both the parties, the ADJ VIII convicted Santosh Kumar Upadhayaya and awarded him rigorous life imprisonment and slapped a fine of Rs. 25,000 on him.
