TWO KILLED, ONE INJURED

Ara, 9 December 2022, (RNI): One youth was killed while another injured when a speeding Scorpio dashed their motorcycle near Dularpur village under Ara Muffassil police station on Ara-Buxar main road in Bhojpur district in the wee hour. Police brought the body to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem and admitted the injured there. The deceased was identified as Basant Kumar 24 son of late Bhikhari Mahato of Sarangpur village under Ara Muffassil police station while the injured was identified as Jitendra Mahato 22 son of Jiyut Mahto of the same village. Later the driver escaped with the vehicle. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Ara Muffassil police station in this regard.

SHO Ara Muffassil police station said that Basant Kumar along with his friend Jitendra Kumar was returning his native village on a motorcycle and when he reached near Dularpur village, a speeding Scorpio dashed the motorcycle killing Basant Kumar on spot and injuring Jitendra Kumar. The driver escaped with the vehicle after the incident.

In another incident, a labour was crushed to death by a speeding vehicle near Kitapur village under Jagdishpur police station on Ara-Mohania NH-30 when he was returning after attending call of nature. The deceased was identified as Lal Jee Yadav 55 son of late Hari Yadav of Kitapur village. Police brought the body to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem.

SHO Jagdishpur police station said that Lal Jee Yadav had gone to the field in Kitapur village to attend call of nature and when he was returning, a speeding vehicle crushed him to death.
