FIR FOR PLEASURE FIRING, POLICE ARREST A PERSON

ARA---------------------------An FIR was lodged with the police under Shahpur police station against four named and some unnamed persons on the statement of the SHO, Shahpur police station Kumar Rajanikant in connection with waving arms and firing indiscriminately during a marriage ceremony at Shahpur under the same police station. The named accused were identified as Binod Yadav alias Ravi Yadav alias Gop alias Pahalwan of Bhimpatti under Bihia police station, Panakaj Kumar Rai and Jinar Singh alias Jitendra Singh of Shahpur Ward No 5 under Shahpur police station in Bhojpur district and Ramakat Yadav of Rani Talab under Bikram Pali police station in Patna district.

SHO Shahpur police station Kumar Rajanikant said that he got photographs and a video from a social platform and when it was verified, it came to light that some people were waving arms and also pleasure firing indiscriminately during a marriage ceremony at Shahpur under the same police station. He verified the video with the help of the Chaukidar and some villagers, the FIR was lodged. He said that after institution of FIR, the police arrested the main accused Binod Yadav alias Ravi Yadav alias Gop alias Pahalwan and sent him to jail after interrogation. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest other accused persons. Besides, a person loading the bullets with an illegal gun in his hand and doing celebratory firing is said to be Pankaj Kumar Rai, a resident of Shahpur Ward No. 5 under Shahpur police station.
