TWO YOUTHS KILLED, TWO INJURED

ARA-----------------------------Two persons were killed while two others injured when their motorcycle with a speeding vehicle near Daulatpur Boring under Koelwar police station on Ara-Chhapara main road in the late evening. The deceased were identified as Devchand Mahato 21 of Suarmarawa village under Maner police station in Patna district and his brother-in-law Ravi Kumar 19 of Pachrukhia Kala village under Koelwar police station in Bhojpur district while the injured were identified as Vikas of Pachrukhia Kala village Koelwar police station in Bhojpur district and Babloo Kumar 18 of Hajipur in Patna district. Police recovered the bodies and brought them to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem and admitted the injured there.

Upendra Kumar, family member of one of the deceased said that a ritual of marriage of daughter of Sahanand of Pachrukhia Kala under Koelwar police station in Bhojpur district was being solemnized in a house at Chitani village under Badahara police station and Devchand Mahato of Suarmarwa village under Maner police station in Patna district had come to his in-laws house to participate in the marriage rituals. After the function over, Devchand along with Ravi Kumar, Vikas and Babloo were returning on a motorcycle in the night and when they reached near Daulatpur Boring under Koelwar police station on Ara-Chhapara Highway, a speeding vehicle collided head-on with the motorcycle killing Devchand Mahato and Ravi Kumar on spot and injuring Babloo and Vikas.
