BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST AN AWARDEE OF Rs. 25000
Bhojpur police arrested a miscreant bearing an award of Rs. 25,000 on his head from near Chandi Chowk under the Chandi police station in Bhojpur district.
ARA (RNI) Bhojpur police arrested a miscreant bearing an award of Rs. 25,000 on his head from near Chandi Chowk under the Chandi police station in Bhojpur district. The arrested miscreant was identified as Sanoj Kumar alias Saroj Kumar alias Suyiya of Salempur village under Chandi police station and was counted among 10 top most wanted miscreants of Bhojpur district. Later the police sent him to jail after interrogation.
DSP said that a police team was formed under the SDPO and the police team acting on a tip off, arrested the miscreant from near Chandi Chowk in the late evening on February 29, 2024. He confessed his involvement in all the criminal activities framed against him. The DSP further said that Krishna Kumar Pandey son of Ganesh Pandey of Dhandiha village under Koelwar police station had lodged an FIR with the police under Koelwar police station on October 22, 2022 under section 392 IPC against Sanoj Kumar alias Saroj Kumar alias Suyiya. He was wanted in a number of criminal cases including loots, theft and also under Arms Act.
