THREE PERSONS ARRESTED FOR KIDNAPPING OF A MINOR GIRL

Sasaram, 19 June 2023, (RNI): Rohtas police arrested three miscreants and sent them to jail in connection with kidnapping of a girl form Pipardiha village under Nsariganj police station and selling her in Sikar district of Rajasthan in July 2022. The arrested miscreants were identified as Suchit Ram, Bimlesh Ram and Pradeep Ram of Pipardiha village under Nasariganj police station in Rohtas district
SHO Nasariganj police station Sudhir Kumar said that some miscreants had decoyed a minor girl and kidnapped her from Pipardiha village under Nasariganj police station in Rohtas district in July 2022 and took her to Sikar district in Rajasthan where they sold her. An FIR was lodged with the police under Nasariganj police station in this regard. After institution of FIR, the police swung into action and started investigating the matter and conducting raids to recover the girl. The SHO said that the police in November 25, 2022 detected a matter of kidnapping of a minor girl and selling her in the Sikar district in Rajasthan and arrested the mastermind of the gang Sumitra Devi and her associate Upendra Kumar of Baruyi village under Darigaon police station besides the so called bridegroom Kalu Ram Sharma son of Makkhan Lal Sharma of Ganeshwar Gawar village under Nimka police station of Sikar district in Rajasthan. The police arrested six persons including a woman said to be the mastermind of the gang so far.
