WOMAN COMMITS SUICIDE IN ROHTAS VILLAGE

SASARAM-----------------------------One woman committed suicide by consuming poison at Chiksil village under Karakat police station in Rohtas district. A named FIR has been lodged with the police under Karakat police station in this regard on the statement of Jirakhan Musahar, father of the deceased and the police are investigating the matter. Later the police recovered the body and brought it to the Sasaram Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The deceased was identified as Savita Kumari 23 second wife of Dhan Jee Nat of Chiklis village.

SHO Ful Dev Chaudhary said that first husband of Savita Devi had died some days ago and after his death she came in contact with Dhan Jee Nat son of Ashok Nat of the same village and both fell in love and both eloped from their houses and tied nuptial knot about 10 days ago though both were married.

Jirakhan Nat, father of the deceased said that three days Dhan Jee Nat had come to the village with Savita Devi after marrying her. Savita Devi came to him and said that she wanted to live with him but he protested and advised her to go to her husband as he could not keep her and so returned. Meanwhile, she had a tiff with Dhan Jee Nat and Savita Devi committed suicide by consuming poison. On information, he rushed to her house where foam was coming out of her mouth. He rushed her to the hospital but she died on way to hospital.
