Ara, 28 May 2023, (RNI): Bhojpur police arrested a clerk Binok Kumar of Plur 2 High School, Birahimpur under Badahara police station and sent him to jail in connection with several irregularities including financial. He was posted in the school for long time and was always controversial. He was blamed for irregularities in finance, registration, admission, examination form and keeping of files. The school administration complaint the education department in this regard again and again but no action was taken. Meanwhile, Dr Chanda Rani took charge of Headmaster of the school on February 1, 2023 and was startled after going through all records of the school.

Headmaster Dr Chanda Rani said that after taking charge of the school as Headmaster, she went through all the records and registers and checked the cash book and was taken aback when she found several irregularities. She complained the senior officer of the education department. Taking cognizance, the DPO, education department, Rohit Kumar Chaurasia convened a meeting of the staffs of the school and tried to sort out the problem. At that time, Binod Kumar Singh, clerk of the school, verbally assured to hand over all the documents and registers within 10 days but of no result. At last the Headmaster, getting written permission from the education department, lodged a named FIR with the police under Badahara police station against the clerk of the school, Binod Kumar Singh. After institution of FIR, the police arrested Binod Kumar Singh and sent him to jail.

Dr Chanda Rani said that the clerk Binod Kumar Singh was under suspension for the last 10 days and he had to join at Bihia. Despite he frequently visited the Birahimpur Karaja school. She said that he had realized registration fees from 300 students of the school in the year 2022 but he deposited only half of the amount in bank account of the the education department. As a result at least 164 students were denied registration and their future was spoiled.
