BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST ON MURDERER

Ara, 23 June 2023, (RNI): Bhojpur police arrested a miscreant from Zamira village under Ara Muffassil police station in Bhojpur district in connection with murder of a youth on June 21, 2023. The arrested miscreant was identified as Veera Kumar son of Brij Lal Rai of Zamira village. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Ara Muffassil police station against him and the police sent him to jail after interrogation. Police are conducting raids to arrest the rest two miscreants.

Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that Pankaj Kumar had gone to his neighnour to have banquet and after coming from the feast in the night on June 21, 2023, he was sitting in a chair outside his house at Zamira village under Ara Muffassil police station when his three friends came from behind and fled away from the scene after pumping bullets into his body. He was rushed to the Ara Sadar Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment. The SP stated that after query with the family members of the deceased the police arrested Veera Kumar of the village with whom the deceased had some tiff. The SP added that several reasons came to light regarding the murder but after the arrest of rest two miscreants, the reason of murder would be clear. He said that the police are conducting raids to arrest them and hoped that both the miscreants would very soon be arrested and landed in the jail.
