MIDDLE AGED WOMAN SHOT AT, INJURED

Ara, 18 July 2023, (RNI): One middle aged woman was shot at and injured at Badaki Sanadiya under Ara Muffassil police station in Bhojpur district in the late evening on July 17, 2023 and was admitted to the Ara Sadar Hospital. The injured was identified as Arati Pandey 45 wife of Anil Kumar Pandey of Badaki Sanadiya village. Land dispute is said to be the cause behind the incident. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Ara Muffassil police station in this regard and the police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants.

Rishikesh Pandey son of the injured said that he had a dispute with his uncle over 10 kattha of land for the last three years. They lived in Mumbai. On Monday late evening, his uncle and cousin brothers came to his house and started beating the family members. Meanwhile, one of his cousin brothers fired three rounds and pumped two bullets into his mother and injured her. She was admitted to the Ara Sadar Hospital. He blamed that Manoj Pandey, Mantu Pandey and Pintu Pandey, sons of his uncle thrashed his family members also fired.
