TWO ARMS SMUGGLERS WITH FIREARMS ARRESTED
STF with the help of Bhojpur police conducted raid under Gadhani police station and arrested two arms smugglers. The arms smugglers were identified as Ranjay Kumar son of Chandradeo Verma and Sharma Kumar son of Vihas Yadav of Varada village under Bikrma police station in Patna district.
Ara, 31 May 2023, (RNI): STF with the help of Bhojpur police conducted raid under Gadhani police station and arrested two arms smugglers. The arms smugglers were identified as Ranjay Kumar son of Chandradeo Verma and Sharma Kumar son of Vihas Yadav of Varada village under Bikrma police station in Patna district.
Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that he got information that two arms smugglers of Patna have taken shelter in a village under Gadhani police station in Bhojpur district. He at once sent a police team there. Seeing the police, they tried to escape on Scorpio but the police chased and arrested them. When searched, the police seized a 7.65mm caliber pistol, two magazines, two mobiles and Rs. 1.70 lakh in cash. The SP further said that the police are interrogating them.
