BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST TWO TERRORS OF THE DISTRICT

Ara, 21 November 2022, (RNI): Bhojpur police heaved a sigh of relief after the arrest of two terrors of Bhojpur district in connection with over a dozen criminal cases. The police arrested Tuntun Kumar alias Tuntun Yadav of Salempur  and Ranjeet Yadav of Zokata village under Chandi police station in Bhojpur district. The police also recovered a looted motorcycle from near Poultry Farm at Zameera Road under Chandi police station.

Bhojpur SP Sanjay Kumar Singh said that Krishna Kumar Pandey of Dhandiha village undere Koelwar police station was going to his native village on his motorcycle on October 28, 2022 when motorcycle borne four armed miscreants intercepted him near the poultry farm on Chandi-Zameera main road under Chandi police station and snatched a mobile and the motorcycle and escaped from the scene. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Chandi police station in this regard. The SP said that he formed a police team under the ASP Himanshu and the police team following technical research and confidential report, arrested Tuntun Kumar alias Tuntun Yadav and his aide Ranjeet Kumar from Dhanbad in Jharkhand.

The SP stated that Tuntun Yadav fled away to other states after committing crime under different police stations in Bhojpur district. He said that he was wanted in the loot of a motorcycle at Tirthkol under Sandesh police station, money loot in Sandesh, loot from CSP under Gajrajganj police outpost. He said during interrogation, Tuntun Yadav confessed before the police that he and his aide was involved in the two loot cases each under Chandi police station, Sandesh police station, Udwantnagar police station and one case undere Gajrajganj police outpost in Bhojpur district and he also revealed names of his aides. The SP added that the police are conducting raids to arrest all the miscreants.
