32891 CASES OF MUTATION IS PENDING IN BHOJPUR DISTRICT
-In spite of lakhs of efforts, orders and instructions of the officers in Bhojpur district, a total of 32891 cases of mutation is pending in the district and the work is not being done properly allegedly by the employees and the Circle Officers (COs) and the people are facing a lot of problems. 23491 cases of mutation are pending for more than 21 days while 5284 cases are pending for over 63 days.
Ara, 10 July 2023, (RNI): In spite of lakhs of efforts, orders and instructions of the officers in Bhojpur district, a total of 32891 cases of mutation is pending in the district and the work is not being done properly allegedly by the employees and the Circle Officers (COs) and the people are facing a lot of problems. 23491 cases of mutation are pending for more than 21 days while 5284 cases are pending for over 63 days.
235499 applications have been submitted by the people in the circle offices in Bhojpur district for mutation out of which 131746 applications executed and 70862 cases were rejected.
As per the rule laid down by the government, an application for mutation should be executed within 21 days so that people are not tortured and the revenue of the government increase but it seldom happens.
All the works under the Public Service Act including LPC, Genealogy, Caste Certificate, Income Certificate Land Acquisition, Mutation and many other types of works, made by the government are done in the Circle Offices.
ADM Manoj Kumar Jha said that Bhojpur district has 226 panchayats and only 185 revenue employees are working and the works are pending due to lack of working hands and added that several posts are vacant. He said that the number of posts created years ago is still the same even though the population the district increased manifold. He said that departmental proceedings are going on against the employees Anil Kumar Singh, Santosh Kumar, Harendra Pratap Singh, Manoj Kumar Singh, Rakesh Kumar who are implicated for irregularities in mutation and others.
The ADM said that efforts are being made to speed up all the works and instructions have been given to all the COs whose works are not according to the target. He added that action is being taken against the revenue employees and soon the work will be updated according to the target.
