BHOJPUR POLICE SEIZED IMFL AND 26 LIVE CARTRIDGES

Ara, 26 June 2023, (RNI): Bhojpur police, acting on a tip off, conducted raid near Ramkarahi village under Karnamepur police outpost and seized 15 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) and 26 live cartridges though the liquor smugglers escaped from the scene.

 Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that a police team under the SDPO, Jagdishpur, Rajeev Chandra Singh, on confidential report, conducted raid near Ramkarahi village under Karnamepur police outpost of Shahpur block in Bhojpur district and recovered 15 bottles of IMFL and 26 live cartridges. The SP said that motorcycle borne two liquor smugglers, seeing the police threw the IMFL and cartridges and escaped from the scene under the cover of darkness. He added that 11 seized cartridges are of gun while 15 are of rifle. He said that the police are conducting raids to arrest the fleeing liquor smugglers and after their arrest, it would be clear as to where they were carrying the cartridges.
