FIR ON IMPOSTAR POLICE PERSONNEL FOR CHEATING YOUTHS FOR JOB

Ara, 10 July 2023, (RNI): A case of fraudulently cheating youths of Uttar Pradesh in the name of getting job by becoming an imposter police has come to light after a youth of Dokati village of Balia in Uttar Pradesh lodged an FIR with the police under Krishnagarh police station in Bhojpur district in Bihar against an imposter police officer and appealed to get back the amount cheated in the name of job. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the imposter.

Quoting the FIR, the SHO Krishnagarh police station Vivek Kumar said that Mantu Kumar son of Sita Ram Singh of Sohara village under Krishnagarh police station frequently visited his relatives at Dokati village of Balia in Uttar Pradesh and posed himself as a driver of the Superintendent of Police, Nagaland while he was not in any job. In the year 2018, he, as an imposter police personnel decoyed and realized Rs. 50000 to Rs. 70000 money from 10 unemployed youths of Dokati village in the name of getting jobs in ITBP, Fire Brigade and others and thus cheated lakhs of rupees. When the youths did not get jobs within stipulated time, the youths demanded their money from him but he switched off his mobile and became underground. The cheated youths have proof of giving money through bank account and recording on their mobile for demanding money for job. The SHO further said that Mantu Kumar Singh is a named accused in connection with firing on the vehicle of Mukhia, Sohara panchayat with a view of murder.
