POLICE DRIVER DIED

Sasaram (RNI) Police driver was killed in road accident under Bikramganj police station area when he was going on duty. The deceased was identified as Manoj Tiwari of Pakadi village under Rajpur police station in Rohtas district. Later the police recovered the body and brought it to the Sasaram Sadar Hospital for postmortem. Pinki Devi, wife of the deceased gave a petition to the Rajpur police station and informed the police regarding the incident.

DSP Kumar Sanjay said that Manoj Tiwari was army personnel and after retirement he joined Bihar police as driver. He was going on duty when a speeding vehicle dashed his motorcycle on the way and injured. He was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries on way to the hospital. The DSP met the family members of the deceased and assured all possible help.
