POLICE JEEP CRUSHED A WOMAN AND INJURED
A speeding police jeep hit and injured a woman and her minor son at Sikraul Bazaar under Sikraul police station in Buxar district and the driver escaped from the scene with the vehicle leaving the injured woman behind to die.
Buxar, 18 July 2023, (RNI): A speeding police jeep hit and injured a woman and her minor son at Sikraul Bazaar under Sikraul police station in Buxar district and the driver escaped from the scene with the vehicle leaving the injured woman behind to die. Later the locals admitted her to the Buxar Sadar Hospital.
Family members of the injured said that Chanakali Devi along with her minor son had gone to the Sikraul Bazaar to buy mangoes. Meanwhile a police jeep at high speed came there. The woman seeing the speed of the jeep scared and fell to the ground but the driver of the police jeep was so insensitive, he crushed the hands of the woman and went away from the scene leaving the woman behind to die.
