AUTO-RICKSHAW DRIVER SHOT DEAD AT ARA

ARA (RNI) In a broad day light some armed miscreants shot dead a youth near Bhaluhipur Akhada area under Ara town police station today when he was going to cattle fair to purchase cow. The miscreants also snatched Rs. 2 lakh from him and fled away from the scene. The deceased was identified as Golu Kumar son of Vakil Yadav of Bhaluhipur locality under Ara town police station. An FIR was lodged with the police under Ara town police station in this regard. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants. Reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained.

Golu Kumar of Bhaluhipur locality under Ara town police station was going to a cattle fair at Gadhani to buy cow in his three-wheeler. He had Rs. 2 lakh for the purpose. On the way, some armed miscreants arrived at Bhaluhipur locality under Ara town police station on Thursday and pumped six bullets into his body and fled away after snatching Rs. 2 lakh. The locals rushed the injured to the Ara Sadar Hospital but he succumbed to his injuries on way to the hospital. It was said that Golu Kumar had a tiff with a youth of his village last day and he was shot dead today. The locals informed the police and the police arrived at the spot and recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. Police are also investigating the matter.
