BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST A MISCREANT WITH GOLDEN EYES STOLEN FROM A TEMPLE

ARA----------------------------Bhojpur police arrested a miscreant from his house at Sundarpur Baraza village under Dhobaha police station in Bhojpur with two golden eyes of goddess stolen from Sati Mata and Kali Mata temple Rajpur village under Bahoranpur police station in Bhojpur district. The miscreant was identified as Chandan Tiwari alias Sonu Tiwari alias Kala Nag of Sundarpur Baraza village. Later the police sent him to jail after interrogation.

SHO Bahoranpur police station Sushant Kumar said that some unidentified miscreants had stolen two golden eyes of goddess from the Sati Mata and Kali Mata temple at Rajpur village under Bahoranpur police station in the night of April 28, 2025. An FIR was lodged with the police under Bahoranpur police station in this regard on the statement of a villager Ravindra Nath Thakur son of late Ramayan Thakur of Rajpur village. After institution of FIR, the police swung into action and arrested the miscreant Chandan Tiwari alias Sonu Tiwari alias Kala Nag from his house at Sundarpur Baraza village under Dhobaha police station and recovered stolen two golden eyes from him. Later the police sent him to jail.

It may be mentioned here that two golden eyes were stolen from that temple in the year 2023 and an FIR was also lodged with the police under Bahoranpur police station at that time too but the police failed either to arrest the miscreant or to recover the stolen golden eyes.
