BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST FOUR MEMBERS OF INTER-DISTRICT MOTORCYCLE LIFTER GANG, SEIZED FOUR STOLEN MOTORCYCLES

ARA-----------------------Bhojpur police busted a gang of Inter-district motorcycle lifters and arrested four members of the gang. The police also recovered five motorcycles stolen from different police station areas of Bhojpur and Arwal districts. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Sandesh police station in this regard and the police sent them to jail after interrogation. Police are also investigating the matter. Police are conducting raids to arrest other members of the gang.

ASP Parichay Kumar said that the Bhojpur police and DIU team jointly, acting on a tip off, conducted raids at Akhagaw village under Sandesh police station and arrested Sunny Kumar along with a stolen motorcycle. During interrogation he revealed important information on which the police seized four more motorcycles and arrested three members of Inter-district motorcycle lifter gang. The arrested motorcycle lifters were identified as Sunny Kumar son of Subhash Ram, Mithun Kumar son of Mithilesh Yadav of Akhagaw village under Sandesh police station, Mantu Kumar son of Hare Ram Yadav of Kamal Tola under Narayanpur police station and Mukesh Kumar son of Shashi Bhushan Singh of Baruhi village under Sahar police station in Bhojpur district. The ASP said that the three of four motorcycles were stolen from Ara town, Ara Muffassil and Ara Nawada police stations while the police are trying to know the person whose motorcycle was stolen.

ASP Parichay Kumar said that a major revelation has been made with the arrest of four members of the motorcycle lifter gang and the police are conducting raids to arrest other members of the gang. He said that Mithun Kumar is operating the gang at present. The gang was involved in dealing the stolen motorcycles in Bhojpur, Arwal and other districts. They used the stolen motorcycles in illegal activities and liquor smuggling.
