BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST THREE DRUG PEDDLERS WITH 200 GRAMS OF BROWN SUGAR, SENT TO JAIL

ARA------------------------Bhojpur police arrested three drug peddlers from near Zero Mile under Udwantnagar police station and seized 200 gram of brown sugar from them. The police also seized a motorcycle, a car and three mobiles from them. The arrested drug peddlers were identified as Munna Singh son of Mudrika Singh, Pawan Kumar Singh alias Deepak Kumar Singh son of Ram Jee Singh and Anand Kumar Singh son of Bhuwaneshwar Singh of Kaura village under Jagdishpur police station in Bhojpur district. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Jagdishpur police station against the arrested drug peddlers and the police sent them to jail after interrogation.

Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that he got information that drug peddlers in a Honda City Car bearing registration Number of West Bengal and one youth on a motorcycle with drugs were going towards Zero Mile via Jagdishpur in Bhojpur district. He immediately formed a police team under the SDPO, Ara. The police team launched vehicle checking drive near Zero Mile under Udwantnagar police station. Seeing the police the drug peddlers in a car and also on a motorcycle tried to escape but the police chased and arrested three drug peddlers and also seized the car, motorcycle, three mobiles and 200 grams of brown sugar. The SP stated that during interrogation, the arrested drug peddlers revealed several information and the police are taking action.
