ARA--------------------------Two groups clashed and also exchanged fire at Agarsada villge under Dhobaha police station in Bhojpur district in the late evening on April 19, 2025 over a piece of land. The police recovered blank cartridges from the spot. Two named FIRs were lodged with the police under Dhobaha police station by both the groups against 18 persons. After institution of FIR, the police swung into action and arrested four persons including Sushil Pandey father of Bhojpuri singers Hema Pandey and Kareena Pandey.

A clash broke out in between Bhojpuri singers Hema Pandey and Kareena Pandey and their co-tenants at Agarsanda village under Dhobaha police station in Bhojpur district in the late evening on April 19, 2025 and they also exchanged fire over long standing land dispute though no one was hurt so far. Jitendra Pandey from one side lodged a named FIR against seven persons including Sushil Pandey father of Bhojpuri singers Hema Pandey and Kareena Pandey whereas Shakuntala Kumari from other side lodged a named FIR with the police under Dhobaha police station against 11 people including Jitendra Pandey. After institution of FIRs, the police swung into action and arrested Jitendra Pandey and his two nephews Niranjan Pandey and Priyanshu Pandey from one side and Shushil Pandey from other side.

SHO Dhobaha police station Varsha Rani said that there is a long standing land dispute in between Hema Pandey and her relatives and both the groups had clashed several times on the issues. FIR had been registered regarding that. She said that in the late night, both the groups once again clashed and also exchanged several rounds of fire at about 1am. On information, the police arrived at the spot and recovered three blank cartridges from the spot and also arrested four persons at once. She said that two FIRs have been lodged against 18 persons in this regard and the police are further investigating the matter.

It may be mentioned here that both the groups had clashed on October 17, 2024 and when the police went there to arrest, they attacked on the police force. The then Inspector Pooja Kumari had lodged a named FIR with the police under Dhobaha police station against 14 persons in connection with attack on police and obstruction on government work. The police arrested two persons though all the named accused succeeded in getting bail. Total four FIRs were registered.
