-One middle aged woman was crushed to death by a speeding vehicle near Raghunathpur village under Bhrampur police station in Buxar district when she was going to the market for purchasing.

BUXAR---------------------------One middle aged woman was crushed to death by a speeding vehicle near Raghunathpur village under Bhrampur police station in Buxar district when she was going to the market for purchasing. The deceased was identified as Anita Devi 41 wife of Bhagwan Ojha of Pakdahi village under Bagengola police station in Buxar district. Later the police recovered the body and brought it to the Buxar Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
SHO Brahmpur police station said that Anita Devi was going to Sikaria for marketing on foot from her village when a speeding vehicle from Raghunathpur knocked her down from behind and escaped. The local admitted her to the Primary Health Centre at Raghunathpur but the doctor referred her to the Ara Sadar Hospital but she succumgbed to her injuries on way to the Ara Sadar Hospital. The Bhojpur police got the postmortem performed at the Ara Sadar Hospital.
