MODESTY OF A MINOR GIRL OUTRAGED, RAPIST ARRESTED

Sasaram, 11 March 2023, (RNI): Modesty of a minor girl was outraged in a village under Dinara police station in Rohtas district. The police arrested a teenage youth and produced him in the Juvenile Justice Court.

Father of the girl said that his nine year old daughter along with her brother had gone to the outskirt of the village for cutting grass in the evening. After some time, the brother returned home to drink water. Seeing the girl all alone in the field, Dharmendra Ram 13 son of Chaturai Ram came and outraged her modesty. The girl returned home and narrated her woes before her family members. Her father said that an application in this regard has been given in the police station. SHO Dinara police station Roushan Kumar said that an FIR has been lodged on basis of application given by the girl’s father. He said that girl was brought to the Bhabhua Sadar Hospital for medical examination and was also produced in the Bhabhua Civil Court to get her statement registered under section 164 CrPC. He stated that the police arrested the boy and produced him before the Juvenile Justice Court.
