PREPARATIONS IN FULL SWING FOR VEER KUER SINGH VIJUYOTSAV AT ARA AND JAGDISHPUR

ARA (RNI) Bhojpur District Magistrate Tanay Sultaniya held a review meeting at Ara Collectorate regarding the upcoming Veer Kuer Singh Vijyotsav. It was decided that this historical festival will be celebrated in a grand and attractive manner as a state function from April 23, 2025 to April 24, 2025.

Preparations to celebrate two day Veer Kuer Singh Vijyotsav at Ara and Jagdishpur is going on at war footing. This annual even commemorates the valour and sacrifice of Veer Kuer Singh, the great hero of the 1857 revolution. This is not only a reenactment of a historical even but also a symbol of the cultural identity and pride of the region. Various programmes including Prabhat Pheei, flag hoisting at Veer Kuer Singh Park, lightening of candle and garlanding of the statue of Veer Kuer Singh, National Anthem by the students of the Government Girls High School, Ara, Mini Marathon race from Rampur Sanadiya village and cultural programmes  will be organized at Veer Kuer Singh Park in Ramana Maidan in Ara and Veer Kuer Singh Fort at Jagdishpur in Bhojpur district. Besides preparations for ambulance and traffic system, cleaning of road and function venue, sprinkling of water, beautification of park, cleaning of pond and cultural programmes are also arranged. The DM directed all the concerned officials to complete all the arrangements on time and in an orderly manner so that this festival becomes a proud and inspiring experience for the people of the district.

Senior officers of Bhojpur district including Additional Collector, Bhojpur, Municipal Commissioner, Sub-Collector of Nazarat, SDO Ara and Jagdishpur, Officer-in-Charge of general branch were present on the occasion.
