ROHTAS POLICE RECOVER A YOUNG GIRL AFTER THREE MONTHS

Sasaram, 17 June 2023, (RNI): Rohtas police recovered a young girl from Sasaram in Rohtas district and brought it to the Sasaram Sadar Hospital for medical examination. The police also produced her in the Sasaram Civil Court and got her statement registered under section 164 CrPC. Police are conducting raids to arrest the kidnapper.

SHO Shivsagar police station Rakesh Gosai said that a young girl disappeared from village under Patadhi panchayat in Rohtas district in the month of March this year en-route to the house of her aunt (mausi). Her family members searched for her everywhere and when failed, they lodged an FIR with the police under Shivsagar police station regarding her kidnapping. After institution of FIR, the police swung into action and conducted raids to recover her. Meanwhile, the police got information that the girl was is Sasaram. A police team went there and recovered the girl though the kidnapper is still at large.
