SEVEN BIKE LIFTERS ARRESTED, FIVE STOLEN MOTORCYCLES, FOUR MASTER KEYS SEIZED

Ara, 8 May 2023, (RNI): Bhojpur police busted an inter-state gang of motorcycle lifters during vehicle checking drive under Tarari police station and arrested seven motorcycle lifters and seized 5 stolen motorcycles, four master keys and three mobiles from their possession. The police also arrested Sahir Hussain son of Mumtaz Ansari, Dheeraj Kumar son of Futi Paswan and Kamlesh Yadav alias Ajeer son of late Nepal Singh, Krishna Kumar alias Lafua son of Shailendra Rajwanshi of Bandhawa village under Tarari police station, Pintu Kumar son of Suresh Pasi, Jhingur Pasi son of Sona Pasi and Ravindra Kumar alias Jhingan son of Manoj Pasi of Bihata village under Imadpur police station in Bhojpur district.
Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that Bhojpur police had launched vehicle checking drive near Kheldiya Bridge under Tarari police station in Bhojpur district in the evening on May 7, 2023 when three youths on a motorcycle tried to escape seeing the police but the police chased and caught them and when searched, the police recovered four master keys from them. During interrogation, the youths confessed that the motorcycle was stolen and they were going to sell it out. On their revelation, tuhe police seized two motorcycles from Bandhawa village under Tarari police station and two from Charu village under Imadpur police station in Bhojpur district. Later the police sent them to jail after interrogation.
