10 TRUCKS AND 17 TRACTORS OVERLOADED WITH SAND SEIZED
Bhojpur police along with Saran police jointly conducted raids at Balwan Tola and Bhakura Sand ghats under Badahara police station today and seized 8 trucks and 12 tractors laden with illegal sand and also detained several persons involved in illegal sand trade.
Ara, 8 May 2023, (RNI): Bhojpur police along with Saran police jointly conducted raids at Balwan Tola and Bhakura Sand ghats under Badahara police station today and seized 8 trucks and 12 tractors laden with illegal sand and also detained several persons involved in illegal sand trade. Bhojpur ASP, SDM, Mines Officer, Saran DM, SP and other officers jointly launched campaign against illegal sand mining and overloading.
Bhojpur DM Raj Kumar said that Bhojpur and Saran police and district administration teams conducted raids at Balwan Tola and Bhakura sand ghats under Badahara police station on Monday and seized 10 trucks and 17 tractors overloaded with illegal sand and also detained several persons involved in illegal trade of sand and realized Rs. 1 crore as penalty. He said that the district administration would continue its action against illegal sand mining and carrying and also overloading.
