ARA--------------------------A speeding truck loaded with stone chips dashed against another truck parked on roadside near Bajrang Chowk under Dhangai police station on Ara-Mohania National Highway in Bhojpur district in which the driver of the first truck died on spot and that truck was smashed badly. The deceased was identified as Jai Kishan 23 son of Ramjanm Kumar of Sonvarsha Tanda Kala village under Balua police station of Chandauli district in Uttar Pradesh. The police seized the truck and also recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
Dheeraj Pal, friend of the deceased said that Jai Kishan was at his home about a fortnight ago. He had talked with his father on mobile about 7pm and told him that he was going to Motihari in Bihar after loading stone chips on the truck from Araula village of Mirzapur district in Uttar Pradesh. And when he was going to Motihari, he lost control over the steering and dashed another truck parked on roadside in which he was killed on spot.
