SPEEDING VEHICLE CRUSHED TO DEATH A MARRIED WOMAN

ARA-------------------------One speeding Scorpio crushed to death a woman while injured another at Ahile village under Narayanpur police station in Bhojpur district. The deceased was identified as Lalsa Devi 23 wife of Dinesh Thakur of Ahile Ward No 6 under Narayanpur police station. Later the police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem and admitted the injured there. The villagers caught the Scorpio at Agiaw Bazaar when the driver was trying to escape from the scene with the vehicle after the incident. An FIR was lodged with the police under Narayanpur police station in this regard and the police seized the Scorpio.

Dinesh Thakur, husband of the deceased said that Lalsa Devi had gone to Agiaw Bazaar market in the afternoon for purchasing and returned to the village on a three-wheeler. After that she was passing through the border of a field when a speeding Scorpio knocked her down.
