TWO KILLED, ONE INJURED

SASARAM (RNI) Two persons were killed while one injure when two trucks collided head-on near the border of Karakat on Bikramganj-Dehari road under Bikramganj police station in Rohtas district in the morning. The deceased were identified as Shiv Kumar, driver of a truck of Gautam Buddh Nagar in Uttar Pradesh and Md. Shamim, a cleaner of the truck of Gajipur in Uttar Pradesh. Later the police recovered the bodies and brought them to the Sasaram Sadar Hospital for postmortem.

SHO Bikramganj police station Lalan Kumar said that one truck loaded with sand was coming from the sand ghat while another truck was going to the sand ghat and when they reached near the border of Karakat on Bikramganj-Dehari main road under Bikramtanj police station collided head-on in which the driver and the cleaner of an empty truck were killed while the cleaner of sand laden truck was badly injured. He said that it is not known as to where the injured cleaner was admitted for treatment.
