TWO PERSONS KILLED, ONE INJURED
Two persons were killed and one injured when their motorcycle collided head-on with a speeding tractor at Karakat Bazaar in front of South Madhya Bihar Gramin Bank on NH-120.
Sasaram, 6 March 2023, (RNI): Two persons were killed and one injured when their motorcycle collided head-on with a speeding tractor at Karakat Bazaar in front of South Madhya Bihar Gramin Bank on NH-120. Local people chased and caught the fleeing driver along with tractor near Salempur Bridge and handed over to police. Police arrested the driver and seized the tractor and motorcycle. The deceased was identified as Munna Kumar 55 son of Gopal Verma and Birendra Sonkar 60 son of Sitaram Sonkar of Itadhi village in Buxar district while the injured was identified as Shailendra Kumar Seth son of late Ramchandra Seth of Dinara village. The arrested tractor driver was identified as Upendra Kumar son of Shambhu Chaudhary of Amiyawar village under Nasariganj police station. Police brought the body to the Sasaram Sadar Hospital for postmortem and admitted the injured there. Police are investigating the matter.
SHO Karakat police station Aditya Kumar said that Munna Kumar along with Birendra Sonkar and Shailendra Kumar Seth was going to Om Prakash Soni at Godari to attend a marriage ceremony on a motorcycle when a speeding tractor collided head-on with the motorcycle at Karakat Bazaar in which Munna Kumar and Birendra Sonkar were killed while Shailendra Kumar Seth was injured.
