BUXAR POLICE ARREST A YOUTH WITH FIREARMS

Buxar, 16 November 2022, (RNI): Buxar police arrested a youth and recovered a country made pistol, three live cartridges and three blank cartridges from his house at Kharwania village under Sikraul police station in Buxar district. An FIR was lodged with the police against him under Sikraul police station under Arms Act and sent him to jail after interrogation. Police are looking his criminal history.

SHO Sikraul police station Sanjeev Kumar said that the youth had a tiff with his family members a day before. The police got information about it and also knew that he had firearms. The police acting on a tip off, conducted raid at his house at Kharwania under Sikraul police station and arrested the youth with a country made pistol, three live cartridges and three blank cartridges. The SHO said that the youth kept the firearms under the pillow and slept over it.
