A grand rally was organized in Sandi block under the School Chalo Abhiyan

Hardoi (RNI) A grand rally was organized under the "School Chalo Abhiyan" on Wednesday, 23rd April in Sandi block, the objective of which was to ensure 100% enrollment of maximum number of children in schools in the development block area and to spread awareness about education among the masses.

The rally was flagged off by Block Education Officer Dr. Sunil Kumar. The rally started from Kanak Upvan in Vikas Khand Sandi and it passed through various villages and main roads and concluded at the office.

Teachers, students, parents, village heads, Shiksha Mitras, instructors and local public representatives from the council schools of the development block participated in the rally with great enthusiasm. School children dressed in colourful clothes, carrying placards and banners in their hands explained the importance of education to the common people with passionate slogans like "Every child should go to school, no one should miss out on studies", "India will progress only if India studies".

Block Education Officer Dr. Sunil Kumar while addressing the gathering said that this campaign is not just a rally but a resolution to educate every child. Education is the basis of society and it is our duty to send every child to school. He appealed to the parents to make this campaign a mass movement and make Sandi an ideal development block in the field of education.

On this occasion, all the cluster in-charges, village heads, headmasters, members of the parent committee and other departmental officers were also present. All of them collectively pledged that no child of any age will be deprived of education in Vikaskhand Sandi.

At the end of the rally, the Block Education Officer thanked all the participants and said that this campaign should not be limited only to enrollment but the continuous presence of children and quality education will also be ensured.

On this occasion, Abhay Yadav, Ajit Shukla, Pushpendra Shukla, Rajesh Sharma, Ravi Singh, Lalit Tripathi, Anuj Kumar, Vikas Sharma, Dhirendra Singh, Sunil Kumar, Rakhi Srivastava, Shaheen Akhtar, Neelam Devi, Shubha Verma, etc. were present.
