Delhi-Ayodhya-Sitamarhi Pad Yatra from 25th February : Krishnanand  Jha

New Delhi (RNI) Janajagruti Manch will take out a padyatra from 25 February next year to Delhi-Ayodhya-Sitamarhi Dham. Through this yatra, the message will be conveyed that the devotees who go to Ayodhya for the darshan of Ram Lala must visit Sitamarhi and Janakpur for the darshan of Maa Janaki.

This announcement was made by Forum President Krishnanand Jha recently at the Vidyapati Parv function held at Dadadev Ground in Palam, Delhi. This journey will last for about 35 days, he said. 

Vice President of Maithili Bhojpuri Academy and MLA of Burari in Delhi, Sanjeev Jha, who came to participate in the function, welcomed this Padyatra event and said that he will provide all possible support for this journey.

In coordination with the Punauradham Trust of Sitamarhi, the pilgrims will be welcomed at various stops of the Padyatra route, he said.  Kirari MLA Rituraj also welcomed the Delhi Ayodhya Sitamarhi Padyatra.

Vinay Mishra, MLA from Dwarka, called on this occasion that all the people of Purvanchal need to unite. Former MP Mahabal Mishra also called upon the people that we need to unite and increase the use of Maithili language in our homes.

Dr. Arun Kumar Jha, son of late Ram Chandra Jha, who was associated with the publication of Mithila Panchang and secretary of Maithili Bhojpuri Academy, also participated in the ceremony. On this occasion, a citation was given to Dr. Varun Kumar Jha, Acharya of Post Graduate Astrology Department of Kameshwar Singh Sanskrit University and a mathematician.

The function started with Kavi Sammelan, in which Nivedita Jha, Jayanti, Romisha Jha, Manish Bauabhai and Neeraj Kumar Jha participated. On the other hand, Mithila's famous artists Kunj Bihari Mishra, Dr. Ranjana Jha, Vikas Jha, Madhav Rai, and Vinod Sajan Folk Dance Group, besides Amod Kumar Jha and Khushi Preeti also participated in the cultural program.L.S.
