BHOJPUR POLICE SEIZE 1008 BOTTLES OF IMFL AND A CAR

ARA-------------------------Bhojpur police recovered 1008 bottles of India Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) and seized the car under Dhobaha police outpost area though the liquor smuggler could not be arrested.

Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that he got information that a big consignment of IMFL was being smuggled via Dhobaha police outpost area. He at once formed a police team and the police team intercepted a car on Dhobaha-Sariya main road under Dhobaha police outpost and recovered 1008 bottles of IMFL loaded on the car and also seized the car though the liquor smuggler fled away from the scene. The SP said that the police are trying to reach the owner of the car through the registration number. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Dhobaha police outpost under the New Excise Act and the police are also conducting raids to arrest the liquor smugglers.
