DEATH MYSTERY OF MINOR GIRL SOLVED, FATHER ARRESTED

Ara, 30 March 2023, (RNI): Bhojpur police solved mystery of death of a minor girl at Bhelai village under Udwantnagar police station in Bhojpur district and arrested her father. Later the police sent him to jail after interrogation. 

Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that a minor girl Aradhya Singh 8 daughter of Krishna Kumar Singh of Bhelai village under Udwantnagar police station was shot dead in the night on March 24, 2023 in a house at Defense Colony and an FIR was lodged with the police in this regard and also started investigating the matter. The family members of the girl told the police that some miscreants, after getting the door of the room, shot dead the girl.

The SP said that during investigation it came to light that no outsider had come to the house. The police detained her father Krishna Kumar Singh, a resident of Kund village under Dinara police station in Rohtas district and lived at Bhelai village under Udwantnaagar police station in Bhojpur district, and interrogated him. He told the police that some miscreants had killed his brother and so he kept a pistol with him. He further told the police that he had kept the pistol under the bed and forgot to take it the fateful day. Her daughter Aradhya Singh was studying in the room and somehow she got the pistol and started playing with it. In the process, she pressed the trigger and the bullet hit her and she was killed on spot. The SP said that the police recovered the pistol and also arrested Krishna Kumar Singh. He further said that the girl was killed in the evening on March 24, 2023 and the police was informed on March 25, 2023 in the morning. .
