POLICE RECOVERED BODY OF A PERSON FROM THE RIVER SONE AFTER SIX DAYS

Bhojpur police recovered body of a farmer from the river Sone near a Sun Temple at Khangaw village under Chandi police station after six days and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem.

ARA (RNI) Bhojpur police recovered body of a farmer from the river Sone near a Sun Temple at Khangaw village under Chandi police station after six days and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The deceased was identified as Vijendra Yadav 40 son of late Kishan Yadav of Vishunpur village under Chandi police station and was a farmer by profession.

Suresh Kumar, cousin brother of the deceased said that Vijendra Yadav had gone to the Sone river at Khangaw village under Chandi police station on February 3, 2025 at about 10 am to have a dip. While bathing in the river he was swept away in the fast current of the river and drowned. When he did not return him till late in the evening, the family members searched for him everywhere but in vain. On Saturday, the family members were going to the Chandi police station to give a petition regarding his missing, the locals informed that a body of was seen floating in the river Sone near the Sun Temple at Khangaw village. At this they rushed there and identified and also informed the police. The police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
