ONE COMMITS SUICIDE

Ara, 25 December 2022, (RNI): One graduate student committed suicide by hanging himself to the ceiling fan in the evening on December 24, 2022 at Mirganj under Ara town police station. Later the police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The deceased was identified as Alok Kumar 24 son of late Dharmdeo Prasad of Ward No 7 Mirganj road under Ara town police station. Reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Ara town police station. Police are investigating the matter.

Ranjeet Kumar, brother of the deceased said that his elder brother was all right when he was going for tuition and when he returned in the evening, he found his brother was hanging to the ceiling fan. He informed other family members who came and the body was taken down. Ranjeet Kumar further said that at about 3pm, when he was going to tuition, his elder brother Alok Kumar asked him to make tea for him otherwise he would have to repent. At this, he made tea and both took the tea and after that he went to his tuition.
