Without Booth Level officers how Eliminate the voters: Ponna Venkata Ramana

Hyderabad City, June 28: Several Political Parties are at loggerheads over the deletion of names from the voters' list. BJP state senior leader and Bhagya nagar vice president ponna venkat Ramana expressed his displeasure in the meeting organized by the Election Department at the GHMC headquarters on Tuesday. It has been alleged that objections and complaints are not properly examined and in some places the names of voters are being removed from the list arbitrarily. He questioned how the field level inspection is being done without Booth Level Officers (BLOs). BJP leader Ponna Venkataramana stated that there are no BLOs in many wards of the old city. It is reported that District Election Officer, GHMC Commissioner Lokesh Kumar reacted strongly to this. It is stated that if it is clearly said that no matter should be generalized and that there is no BLO in any polling booth, an investigation will be conducted and action will be taken. The leader replied that if they come with them, they will show them the field conditions. It is reported that there was an argument between the commissioner and the BJP leader Ponna. In the past, it was complained that the votes of people belonging to the same family were in different polling booths and in some areas the wards were changed simultaneously. As part of the amendment, the votes are being removed without house-to-house inspection and the leader of BJP party have asked the authorities to give more clarity on this.
