BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST MAIN ACCUSED FOR MURDER

ARA--------------------------Bhojpur police, acting on a tip off, arrested one of the named accused in connection of murder of Aman Chaudhary at Jagdeo Nagar Gali No 1 under Nawada police station and sent him to jail after interrogation. The arrested person was identified as Ayush Kumar of Jagdeo Nagar locality,

Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that group of Ayush Kumar and Araya Kumar of Jagdeo Nagar and that of Aman Chaudhary and Chhotu Chaudhary of Tilaknagar localities under Nawada police station had exchanged firing at Jagdeo Nagar Gali No 1 under Nawada police station for supremacy in the area. Both the groups had clashed several times and had exchanged fire.

The SP further said that group of Ayush Kumar and Aryan Kumar had attacked the Aman Chaudhary and Chhotu Chaudhary group on the road near the house of Prof. Anil Singh at Jagdeo Nagar Gali No 1 and also exchanged fire and pumped bullet into the head of Aman Kumar who succumbed to his injuries at the Ara Sadar Hospital during treatment. The police arrested Ayush Kumar of Aryan Kumar and Ayush Kumar group. Ayush Kumar confessed before the police his involvement in the said firing during interrogation. The police team is conducting raids to arrest the rest named accused in the matter.

The SP stated that two FIRs have been lodged with the police under Nawada police station in this regard against at least one and half a dozen persons. The police lodged first FIR while the family members of the deceased also lodged an FIR with the police under Nawada police station.
