FIR AGAINST FIVE PERSONS FOR KILLING A PREGNANT WOMAN

ARA--------------------------One pregnant woman was killed at Shivpurganj village under Shahpur police station in Bhojpur district merely for Rs. 10,000. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Jagdishpur police station against five persons including the husband, father-in-law, mother-n-law on the statement of father of the deceased Dayalu Sah. After institution of FIR, the police conducted raid to arrest the named accused but all of them are absconding. The deceased was identified as Asha Devi 20 wife of Mukesh Sah of Shivpurganj under Jagdishpur police station.
Father of the deceased, Dayalu Sah of Pachrukhia village under Hasan Bazaar police outpost, said that Asha Devi was married to Mukesh Sah son of Sriram Sah of Shivpurganj village under Jagdishpur police station in February 2023. When she became pregnant, her in-laws demanded Rs. 10,000 for her treatment and when their demand was fulfilled, they killed her.
