MINOR GIRL DIED, HER BROTHER INJURED

Ara, 28 February 2023, (RNI): Speeding vehicle knocked down minor brother and sister at Badaura village under Gadhani police station in Bhojpur district today. Later the girl succumbed to her injuries during treatment at Ara Sadar Hospital while the boy was admitted to a private nursing home at Ara. The deceased was identified as Chandani Kumari 11 daughter of Raju Paswan while the injured was identified as Rahit Kumar son of Raju Paswan of Badaura village. Later the police got the postmortem of the body at the Ara Sadar Hospital. 

Raju Pawan, father of the deceased said that Chandani Kumari and Rohit Kumar were playing in the village when a speeding Scorpio knocked them down and the driver escaped with the vehicle. The injured were admitted to the Gadhani PHC but the doctor referred them to the Ara Sadar Hospital where Chandani Kumari succumbed to her injuries.
