Register on e-shram portal to get benefits of Government of India schemes and social security:- Mangala Prasad Singh

Hardoi (RNI )District Magistrate Mangala Prasad Singh has informed that as per the instructions of the Ministry of Labor and Employment, Government of India, registration will be done on the e-shram portal to provide social security to the workers providing various services, through which they will get the benefit of various schemes run by the Labor Department for the workers.

In this regard, Assistant Labor Commissioner Satyabir Singh has told about the platform workers category and e-shram registration that the category of platform workers includes freelancers, independent workers, gig works include temporary or short-term workers, offline platform workers include freelancers, online tutors etc., aggregator platform workers include drivers or delivery boys working for Ola, Uber, Zomato etc. and in e-shram registration, workers registered on the e-shram portal can avail the benefits of various government schemes for the benefit of various government schemes, platform workers will get social security coverage by registering on the portal for job opportunities. He has told that interested workers whose age is between 16 to 59 years should register online on the e-shram portal register.eshram.gov.in with Aadhaar card, mobile number and bank account details and get UAN number and for more information, contact the Assistant Labor Commissioner Office, Cinema Square.
