ADI SHANKRACHARYA HAS PROTECTED THE UNITY AND INTEGRITY OF INDIA—ACHARYA BHARAT BHUSHAN

ARA-------------------------Under the joint auspices of the Sri Sanatan Shaktipeeth Sansthanam and Sanatan-Sursari Seva Nyas pooja-archana was held at Friends Colony Officer to mark the 2532^nd birth anniversary of Shivavatar Adi Shankracharya Bhagavatpad and a function was organized at Bam Bam Utsav Palace at Pakari. Acharya Bharat Bhushan Pandey presided over the programme. Shivdas Singh welcomed the guests while Madheshwar Nath Pandey conducted the programme and Surendra Kumar Sinha extended vote of thanks.

Speaking on the occasion, Acharya Bharat Bhushan Pandey said that due to the atheistic views serving the empire, a wave of illegality and slavery had started spreading throughout Aryaarta which was rejected by Bhagvatpad Adi Shankracharya Mahabhag and he protected the Indian religion, culture and nation. With his spiritual power, he revealed the science and knowledge which had become extinct over a period of time, purified the distorted science and knowledge and elaborated the sutra based science and knowledge through his commentaries. By establishing coordination between Vyaspeetha and Rajpeeth as per scriptures, he paved the way for a system of governance which was beneficial to all.

Prof. Baliraj Thakur said that the world’s greatest teacher and the greatest philosopher is Sri Shankracharya whose spiritual power can be seen in the well-organized tradition of the monasteries which has been continuing for the last two and half thousand years. He said that everyone must read his sermon named Charpat Panjarika in which beautiful experiences and beautiful path of life have been described.

Dr. Satyanarayan Upadhyaya said that when the entire population was suffering due to the decline of Vedas and Vedic religion, Lord Shiva appeared in the form of Shankracharya and established the Vedic Sanatan Dharma and the empire. He established four major Peethas in four directions and set the religious order in order. He added that today is also the birth anniversary of the great devotee poet Surdas Jee who spread the wonderful stream of Krishna devotion in the Mughal period.

On the occasion, Acharya Bharat Bhushan Pandey released the book ‘Influence of Rural Culture in Sur Literature’ written by Dr. Upadhayaya.

Rang Ji Singh said that the description of the method of handling weapons in the scriptures teaches us to keep weapons for self-defense.

Dr. Kiran Kumari, Sri Prakash Ojha, Ajay Kumar Pathak, Nilesh Kuamr Mishra, Mrityunjay, Rakesh Mishra, Nand Kishore, Brij Kishore Pandey, Janardan Mishra also spoke on the occasion. Mahant Ram Kinkar Das Jee Maharaja, Prof Nand Jee Dubey, Satyendra Narayan Singh, Madheshwar Nath Pandey and other participated in the worship.
