ONE KILLED, FOUR INJURED WHEN A TRACTOR AND A TRUCK COLLIDED

ARA--------------------------One youth was killed while four other injured when a speeding truck collided head-on with a tractor near Banahi Over Bridge under Shahpur police station in Bhojpur district in the morning. The police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem and admitted the injured there. The deceased was identified as Pankaj Kumar alias Neeraj Rajak son of Ayodhya Rajak of Bihia Ward No 14 under Bihia police station while the injured were identified as Gorakh Yadav son of Dharm Nath Yadav of Rudranagar under Shahpur police station in Bhojpur district, Tufani Yadav son of Lal Mohar Yadav of Sapahi village under Brahmpur police station in Buxar district, Pintu Kumar of Fatuha in Patna district and Magroon of Ranchi in Jharkhand. The deceased worked at a brick kiln at Rudranagar under Shahpur police station in Bhojpur district.

Shatrughan Prasad, uncle of the deceased said that all persons including Pankaj Kumar alias Neeraj Rajak had loaded bricks on a tractor from Chini brick kiln at Rudranagar under Shahpur police station and was going to unload it at Brahmpur. When they were returning Rudranagar after unloading the brick at Brahmpur, a speeding truck collided head-on with the tractor in the bid to overtake it near Banahi Over Bridge under Bihia police station in which Pankaj Kumar alias Neeraj Rajak was killed while Gorakh Yadav son of Dharm Nath Yadav of Rudranagar under Shahpur police station in Bhojpur district, Tufani Yadav son of Lal Mohar Yadav of Sapahi village under Brahmpur police station in Buxar district, Pintu Kumar of Fatuha in Patna district and Magroon of Ranchi in Jharkhand were injured.
