BUXAR POLICE ARREST A DRUG PEDDLER WITH 510 GRAM OF HEROIN

BUXAR--------------------------------Buxar police, acting on a tip off, arrested a drug peddler from Mitra Lok Colony under Buxar Muffassil police station and seized 510 gram of heroin from him. The drug peddler was identified as Upwan Kumar Srivastava alias Badan Srivasatava of Gangoi village under Dhansoi police station but presently lived at Ashok Nagar at Mitra Lok Colony. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Buxar Muffassil police station in this regard and the police sent him to jail after interrogation. Police are investigating the matter.

SHO Buxar Muffassil police station Chandan Kumar said that Chandan Kumar said that Upwan Srivastava had been in jail after the police had recovered 4.5 kilograms of ganja and he had recently came out of the jail on jail. The SHO said that after coming out of the jail, he one again involved in drug peddling. He added that several cases of drug smuggling are pending with the police against him and the police are investigating the matter.
