ARA------------------------------On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Deshratna Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the first President of Independent India, a programme was organized by the District Working Committee of All India Jan Sangh at the Friend’s Colony Office, which was presided over by the State President, Jan Sangh, Advocate Satyendra Narayann Singh.
Speaking as the key note speaker on this occasion, Natioanl President, Jan Sangh, Acharya Dr. Bharat Bhushan Pandey said that the Central Government should declare the birth anniversary of Deshratna Dr. Rajendra Prasad as Merit Day. He said that Rajendra Babu born in an ordinary family is a great example of talent, commitment and simplicity. His contribution as a great freedom fighter, President of Hindi Sahitya Sammelan, renowned advocate, Union Minister, Speaking of Constituent Assembly and the first President is inspiring for every countryman, especially the young generation. Bihari youths will have to come forward and adopt the ideals of Dr. Rajendra Prasad to take care of dignity which is being eroded by the politics of today’s directionless and vested interest elements.
Acharya today recognized the name of the District Working Committee of All India Jan Sangh,appointing Pandit Madheshwar Nath Pandey as the new District President, Advocate Siyaram Dubey as the General Secretary, Advocate Umesh Singh Kushwaha as the Secretary and Advocate Surendra Kumar Mishra as the Treasurer and Narmeshwar Upadhyaya, Amarnath Tiwari, Surya Mohan Singh was nominated as Vice-President, Vishwanath Dubey was nominated as Ara Nagar President and Mahendra Pandey was nominated as Vice-President.
